@Nate_Tice As a Bears fan, I'm thrilled with Loveland and more than happy with how Monangai has panned out. Disclaimers out of the way, what do you think Jeanty would be doing if he had fallen to the Bears at 10?
@patdnorton@CHGO_Bears Believe Brad Biggs said it's his understanding Matt Campbell was one of the first to be interviewed, but the team will not announce it if it's against Campbell's wishes.
@AaronLemingNFL I don't know if any of the edges are worthy of 8 (or 9). As such, I think Atlanta is a prime trade-in spot for someone looking to get ahead of the Bears to grab Odunze. If that happens, my hope would probably be for the Bears to trade back too if possible, depending on the board.
@PFF_Brad Would prefer to go WR & grab a potential All-Pro talent in our last chance to pick in the top 10 & get by w/Jones as long as he remains cheap. Once it's time to pay him, go OT in Round 1, even if there's no guarantee you can land a 10-year starter when drafting #32.
Very well could be. I'm very interested in learning how a healthy Marquez is able to up and alter his game in the face of new challenges now that he is once again properly armed.
@MattWaldman I haven't studied his game at all, but the few glimpses I've seen remind me of Breece Hall. Are there similarities or is that just surface deep?
A sampling of NFL RBs with fewer than 4 career plays from scrimmage of 60+ yards:
Edgerrin James (3)
Curtis Martin (2)
Marshawn Lynch (2)
Todd Gurley (2)
Josh Jacobs (1)
Steven Jackson (1)
@ChadLeistikow I've read that players using their COVID season don't actually count toward the scholarship limit. Is that true? If so, will that provide some flexibility to bring a player or two in from the portal?
