The After Academy: PFA confirmed as supporting partner to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s new initiative

@TrentAA 👏

[Chris Mather @ChrisMatherboy]

@bakerjyorku does anyone have the link to the PFA study on the (tiny) percentage of academy kids that actually make it as a Premier League footballer?

[Chris Mather @ChrisMatherboy]

@DaveMaccormick How brilliant is that!!!!!

[Chris Mather @ChrisMatherboy]

@bakerjyorku really enjoying your ToT book! As a coach, PE teacher but also parent of a 12 year old boy, it is very thought provoking. Just wondering if you’re aware of @headdturnerr as a potential case study, seeing as he didn’t start playing football seriously until 14!

@DaveMaccormick Imagine how far you could get in life by having absolutely zero shame! Her ability to talk utter bobbins is outstanding.

[Chris Mather @ChrisMatherboy]

@RobbieG_PhD @bakerjyorku What chapter are you on @PJCochlin? Anything controversial/bobbins jumping out of the page at you try? Or all good?

[Robb!e 🇨🇦 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♂️ @RobbieG_PhD]

The Tyranny of Talent by @bakerjyorku is a must read. Of all the important lessons, the cumulative power of socioeconomic advantage resonates. Congratulations Dr. Baker.

@afPE_PE Can we join as an international school?

[Chris Mather @ChrisMatherboy]

@afPE_PE we’re about to sink the sleeves for rugby posts on our school pitch out in Abu Dhabi. There’s no access to a PE Advisor. Any advice gratefully received on how far the dead hall line needs to be from a retaining wall at the edge of the pitch. TIA.

[Chris Mather @ChrisMatherboy]

@afPE_PE Not any more. Working out in Abu Dhabi now.

[Chris Mather @ChrisMatherboy]

*dead ball line. Sorry! 🤦🏻‍♂️
