Today, we say thank you and goodbye to Sami Aittokallio, who will not be returning to the Glasgow Clan for the 2026/27 season.

From arriving in Glasgow to battling through injury and helping drive the team to the Playoff Final Weekend, Sami gave so much to the Clan during his time in purple.

We’re incredibly grateful for his commitment, professionalism, and the impact he made both on and off the ice during his time in purple.

Everyone at the Glasgow Clan would like to wish Sami, his wife Laura, and their children all the very best for the future. 💜

Disagreed with the idea of a cap on jerseys bought at the sale before BUT, this year there was not as many jersey racks as there usually is and jerseys left over was mainly the leavers and no shows, + i was part of the second group let in and there was nowt :/

💜 The Glasgow Clan are pleased to confirm Head Coach Mike Sirant has signed a contract extension and will lead the team into the 2026/27 season.

Entering his third season with the organisation, Sirant took over head coaching duties in January 2026 and guided the Clan through a strong finish to the campaign, including a memorable win over league champions the Belfast Giants to reach the Playoff Final Weekend for the first time in 12 years, before securing third place overall.

We look forward to continuing the journey together.

Considering that’s the second time in our history we’ve made it to the final 4 I don’t think walking away with third is to be scoffed at, proud of this team and it gives us something to work toward, looking forward to 26/27 in September.

Sore loss to take but I think a lot of people are being far too negative, club pulled off something we thought was near impossible for a long while.

Wasn't to be. Sadly the better team won on the day but proud of the effort and on another day who knows. More positives than negatives to take away from this season. Plenty of good to build on for next season

After 16 incredible years, Kevin McCoskrie signed off as the voice of the Clan last night… and what a night to do it.

From day one to leading the thunderclap on his final sign off, Kev has been at the heart of everything this club is about.

He leaves us as we head to the Final Four in Nottingham for only the second time in our history. Fitting.

From the Clan Academy to Ice Futures, his impact goes far beyond the mic.
