This illustration of the fortress of Érsekújvár/Neuhäusel/Nové Zámky is a perfect example of a generic star fort in Habsburg-Ottoman wars.

Constructed 1573-81 according to plans of Italian engineers to defend the Habsburg border, it had a moat and an integrated town inside.

The key to happiness is gratitude: truly seeing and appreciating what we already have, and understanding that somewhere, someone would give anything for what we take for granted.
