I am really saddened by the level of vitriol and hatred being directed toward the trans community.
We are losing our common humanity. How hard is it to treat people with kindness and respect?
Trans people are human beings — and they deserve to live in dignity.
Some days can be super tough! Look....not everyday is gonna go the way you want it to. That's alright, God willing, there is another day tomorrow.
Same happens to me more times than I would wish, but what I learned in recovery, and this goes for anyone, is that It Is OK for thing to not go your way. I used to get really pissed and angry and guess what..... that shit didn't do anything for me except bring me down into a pit deeper.
Just breathe, walk away, regroup, pray, more breathing, more praying, and before you know it, it does go away. THEN.....grab tomorrow and own it the best you know how.
It works if you have faith and believe me when I say this, none of us are truly in control. None of us know what is going to happen in an hour, a day, a week, a year from now!!
Breathe easy and #KeepSteppin
