2 September 2026 Giga Texas VIDEO … Early morning flight captured Cybercab testing on the track! Production across the board was visible today with many Model YL’s, more newly built Cybercabs & Cybertruck too!

Two clearing & construction sites on the W side of the highway & the lined pond on the SE side continues to have more of the liner installed. The E Adv Tech Chip Fab foundation work continues with forms, concrete pours, rebar cages and pedestal footings.

Cortex 2 is getting more Megapacks installed today while part 2 of the cooling system seems to have many of the coolant pipes laid out for installation. The N Campus Optimus factory continues to grow with steel assembly and many more S end footings completed!

Frankreichs Verkehrsminister Philippe Tabarot hatte heute Abend einen direkten Austausch mit Elon Musk über FSD Supervised.

Und jetzt wird es richtig spannend:

✅ Französische Behörden arbeiten seit Monaten eng mit Tesla an technischen Anpassungen
✅ Tesla stellt Frankreich zwei FSD-Fahrzeuge zur Verfügung
✅ Jetzt beginnt die Phase der Straßentests
✅ Ziel: Frankreich soll die kommende europäische Zulassung unterstützen können

Besonders bemerkenswert: Noch vor wenigen Wochen gehörte Frankreich zu den Ländern, die FSD in der damaligen Form klar kritisch gegenüberstanden.

Jetzt sitzt Elon Musk persönlich mit dem französischen Verkehrsminister am Tisch und Frankreich testet FSD auf der Straße.

2 September 2026 Giga Texas snapshots! Early morning flight captured Cybercab testing on the track & some views inside the well-lit factory as the sun rises int he background!

Production across the board was visible today with many Model YL’s, more newly-built Cybercabs & @Cybertruck too!

We visit two clearing & construction sites on the W side of the highway, and a rearely seen part of the property ont eh far W past FM 973 where the rental equipment lot was moved & more fill dirt is being sourced for Giga Texas construction projects.

The lined pond on the SE side continues to have more of the liner installed & the fill dirt on top while crews work the outfall ducts to drain the pond into the Colorado River when it begins to have high weather levels.

The E Advanced Technology Chip Fab foundation work continues with forms, concrete pours, rebar cages and pedestal footings. The S 1/3 of the foundation is now being prepared for footing construction too.

Cortex 2 is getting more Megapacks installed today while part 2 of the cooling system seems to have many of the coolant pipes laid out around the base for assembly & installation. The two large water tank foundations have had concrete poured & are now curing while the water reclamation & recovery plant pipe & trench work continues.

The N Campus Optimus factory continues to grow with steel assembly and many more of the S end footings are now completed. Storm water pipe installation & trench work is underway on both the E & W sides of the foundation too.

Here is an update on the joint @SpaceX & @Tesla Advanced Technology Chip Fab Foundation construction at Giga Texas’s today. This will eventually grow to be about 470,000 Sq Ft (~45,000 Sq m) & requires a substantially different & vibration mitigation foundation which is what we are seeing in progress today.

The nearby concrete batch plant assembly continues too & this will be important for the final construction of this new facility which is a test bed in bout construction & operation for the much larger Terafab also beginning construction ~ 100 miles away in Grimes County.

Elon Musk: "We’re in the final stages of completion of Optimus 3, which is really going to be by far the most advanced robot in the world, nothing's even close.

In fact, I haven’t even sent any demos of robots that are as good as Optimus 3, frankly.

We’ll start production on Optimus 3 this summer, but very slow at first. And then probably reach high-volume production around summer next year.

We’ll have Optimus 4 design complete by next year like, we will try to release a new robot design every year, an improved robot design every year."

BREAKING: SpaceX and 4iG sign a first-of-its-kind European partnership to expand @Starlink Mobile across four countries.

The agreements were signed in Bastrop, Texas, by 4iG CEO Gellért Jászai and SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell.

• Starlink Mobile will first launch in Hungary and Albania with apps and messaging, connecting people in remote areas
• It connects directly to LTE-compatible phones without dedicated satellite equipment
• Next-generation Starlink Mobile V2 will expand to Montenegro and North Macedonia, delivering high-speed broadband directly to phones
• It will keep customers, public services and critical infrastructure connected during emergencies and terrestrial network outages
• SpaceX and 4iG will also introduce Sovereign Solutions for secure government and national-security communications

Jászai called it a “historic partnership,” while Shotwell said it will deliver “resilient direct-to-device connectivity” across Hungary and the Western Balkans.

In August, Tesla's Giga Shangai wholesale sales (local in China and exports) were 86,166 Model 3 and Model Y. 🇨🇳

This represents a year-on-year increase of 3.6% and a month-on-month decrease of 7.9%. Compared to last year, year-to-date sales are up by 25.6%.

This is the best result ever after two months into the quarter.

Tesla needs a qualified majority with at least 15 "yes" votes representing at least 65% of the EU population in the TCMV vote on October 6 to allow FSD Supervised throughout the EU.

Currently, we can assume that five countries with FSD approval, accounting for 8.92% of the population, will certainly vote yes.

France, with 15.18%, was negative on the FSD approval.
Germany may try to protect its car industry. Currently, even if France and Germany, the two largest countries accounting for 33.65% population, vote against it, there is still a theoretical chance that the FSD will be approved.

It seems easier to get 15 countries to agree than to get the yes votes from countries representing at least 65% of the EU population.

I’ve had a lot of people asking me for details on the upcoming 3 September @Tesla Cybercab Launch Event, particularly what time it starts, where is the actual venue, what are the planned activities and if it will be live streamed.

As of right now, I honestly do not know and I am waiting along with everyone else to find out.

Hopefully the details will be sent out by the organizers soon as many invitees are boarding planes or making long trips in to Austin right now and many others are interested in knowing if they will be able to watch a live streamed or if any of those invited will be able to send out images or videos during the event.
