I’m calling everyone to stop and pray for our nation tomorrow, Wednesday, January 14, at noon, wherever you are. I’ll be sharing more with @TPerkins on Washington Watch tonight at 5:30 p.m. ET. Here’s a link to watch: https://t.co/quLnFXXiNp
Happy Thanksgiving! "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him" (Colossians 3:17).
“My message to you Christians throughout the world today is to fear not in spite of the world crisis. Keep occupied until He comes … Keep studying, keep praying, and above all, keep living the Christian life.” —@BillyGraham
Pray this prayer with me: Jesus, we thank You for Your goodness! And we thank You that You have us covered, no matter how things look, that You’re releasing greater power, safety, protection over us right now. Amen.
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy! Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11 NIV
The Lord is releasing new hope and help. Trust the Lord, wait in hope and do not give up.
I thank God for President @realDonaldTrump’s leadership of our nation. I believe the world is at a much safer place this week than we were last week. Join me in praying that God would guide and direct his every step as he faces these incredibly tough decisions.
Right after Hurricane Helene, @SamaritansPurse made 358 airlifts of critical relief supplies, most all by helicopter, to communities and individuals in western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee who were cut off, isolated, and unable to get out for help. All of this was staged at the small airstrip near our headquarters in Boone, North Carolina. Yesterday, one of the Chinook helicopter crews from the @82ndABNDiv came back—this time to express thanks to Samaritan’s Purse. However, it is they who deserve our gratitude, along with all of the aviators who gave their time to make that response possible! We couldn’t have done it without them. Aaron Ashoff on our team who helped lead this response with my son @EdwardG1911 was right—“When the 82nd Airborne Chinooks flew in, it changed everything for us. When we started, we were thinking in terms of a few hundred pounds on a small helicopter. But when the Chinooks showed up, we could move thousands of pounds in a single load.” We give God the glory for every person we were able to assist immediately after the storm—and we ask for His enabling as we continue to help families recover and rebuild.
