Really pleased to have got this done. We did everything possible to avoid scaffolding, it proved impossible in the end but the results were worth it - I'm absolutely amazed & delighted by how good everything looks now!
The exterior of the Trust’s house in Kensington – Dr Anderson’s former home – was covered with scaffolding for several months over the summer while extensive repairs were carried out to the stonework, window frames, drainage and so on. It now looks as good as new!
Great photo of the temple scene of Thutmose I and his mother Queen Senseneb in the chapel of Thutmose I at Deir el-Bahari, with @TheEES Chair @EgyptMcr and @DrKenGriffin, Curator of @TheEgyptCentre. There, in Swansea, you can see Howard Carter's painting of this scene on display!

In its position - deliberately built below ground - and construction, the Osireion is unique. The architecture & decoration evoke ideas connected with creation, the tomb of Osiris, and the passage of the sun through the night to be re-born into the new day.
Oh my! @channel5_tv are currently showing a super-cut of my two Pyramid documentaries! 1h 55 of me scrabbling around in the sand, learning loads about massive stone buildings (and not taking any of the alien stuff seriously). Right now, if you’d like a break from dancing/football
