This ancient Greek figure from the 2,500 year-old Douris Cup looks uncannily like someone working on a laptop! 😲 💻
He’s actually writing with a stylus on a hinged wax writing tablet!
The technology has changed, the posture has not! 😂

@chapps Oh god! That’s all so awful! The fact they have prepared letters!!!Instead of looking forward to my visit to the BM to see the Bayeux Tapestry I’m now filled with apprehension!
I cannot even get my head around the #BritishMuseum closing and cancelling tickets people held for the Bayeux Tapestry for a damned politician’s dinner. ‘Just get another ticket’ is not the right answer, considering many have waited months and traveled far to attend. Grotesque.
The timeless beauty of ancient glass! 💖
This Roman glass scent bottle is around 2,000 years old, yet its elegant design feels surprisingly modern!
