I do not understand how people can believe that financial markets are so fragile that they will break unless experienced hands are at the reins.

Elon Musk put NASA to shame. Palantir and Anduril are putting old line defense contractors on their heels. A few of us, outside government, knew the 2008 Panic would not end until we changed mark-to-market accounting. A few knew the Swedish model was correct and lockdowns and school closures were wrong. Reagan’s advisors told him not to say “tear down this wall.”

But people still believe we need the people that “Wall Street Will Trust.” Why? Wall Street absorbs risk everyday…it can handle new leadership.
