@Sherrymoments@DrBenSpencer The proposed Southern rail access link to Heathrow would provide a choice of London bound services from Egham (or neighbouring stations) to either Waterloo or Paddington. Granted the Heathrow Southern access line would take time to build but the sooner started the sooner finished
@kimturner70@soniasodha Do they though? In over 14 years as a school governor and trustee I have never seen a line in the finances for money from uniform suppliers and all three schools I have been involved with have/had uniform policies.
@soniasodha@Jozinhagirl I understand the cost issue, but shouldn’t we ask why so many schools mandate more than 3 branded items. I’m sure there’s a reason as I don’t know any school leader, governor or trustee who wants to make things harder for hard pressed families. They do want good behaviour though.
James Cleverly is by far the best candidate to take the Conservative Party forward, returning us to core Conservative values and building a better future for the people of the United Kingdom.
@HilzFuld I’m not really eligible for this as I’m not an American citizen & don’t live there so I can’t vote in the election. I would, however, vote for Harris because she is pro choice, moderate & an internationalist. She will balance access to healthcare, economic growth & social justice
@Telegraph There are numerous good arguments for and against WFH (the real debate is the level of hybridity permitted) but one of the worst arguments against WFH is the impact on other businesses. No one goes to work in order to impose costs on themselves just to provide profit for others
@Spacexecadet @Peston Except, on this occasion, it would appear to be ‘inaccurately’! Given the number of posts correcting the error it is quite shocking that Robert Peston has not yet corrected his error! Does rather call into question the quality of his reporting (or indicate some real bias)!
@IanNaylor1@OliviaUtley@adamboultonTABB Well, the renaming isn’t made up: https://t.co/RCyY1TqsaU…
I suppose the confused old man might be made up, but there are reports in a number of places of people being confused by the renaming so I’m not sure why you are so convinced it didn’t happen?
Very productive & enjoyable meeting of the RHUL ESRC Impact Accelerator Account (IAA) Steering Group yesterday. Workstream applications open on Monday (Sept. 18th) for both colleagues & partners. Truly proud to be working with such a great team! [email protected]
