@CiaoGinowfc I'm guessing he didn't want to pay for the time he was injured. Probably forgot to get the loan covered by insurance or maybe as he's City's player, their insurance should kick in.
@MikeWaltersMGM On a separate point, I watched an interview where it was pointed out that most championship clubs lose approx 450k per month and player sales is the only way to offset it. We are very lean now so even though we don't like it, maybe we are more protected than many other clubs?
@MikeWaltersMGM 7m is good tbh with the length of contract left and his time with us has been more down than up including a season loan away. I'm happy to see him go, I think the team will improve without him, subject to squad size of course!
@rio_woolf If Antonio was fit and good enough he would have signed weeks ago wouldn't he? Besides, I don't remember him as a target num 9, more a quick winger come Andy Gray type num 9 (can't believe I've said that!) which after his injuries he is not. Maybe he would be useful as back up.
@JordanWiemer Too early to tell really. He comes for the ball & punches rather than staying on his line, that's good. He's allowed to throw out quickly rather than always play out slowly. Few saves so far so difficult to say yet. Let's see after 10 games.
@UncleRonisback The home grown rule means we need players that qualify on that basis that are good enough to play/compete for a place in the 1st team or the bench will continue to fill with academy boys.
@VoicesOfTheVic Difficult to know how fit he is. He has a serious injury and will not be quick anymore. Will have to change his game to suit his health.
@JohnLeFevre Football is for the people. Outpricing them will eventually make it so we can only watch on the TV whilst only the rich can afford to attend. Look at what the real fans bring to the Tournament, fantastic! They should be encouraged rather than priced out.
