Apparently the CEO answered the demand at 6.24 pm to say she had to consult with the trustees. Obviously she couldn’t do that in time. A deliberate move. So the widespread NEU messages of ‘refusal’ are lies.

The Union gave the Trust an "offer" at the end of the day with a *40* *minute* *deadline* knowing the Trustees couldn't possibly meet it.

It was #DesignedToFail. It's utterly transparent. And utterly dishonest.

The "different account" is in fact the truth. I have it on the highest authority that they did not refuse ACAS, just were not given time consider yesterday.

@partridge_matt @NEUnion @GDST That sign is not true. The GDST hasn't refused ACAS. It didn't have time to get the necessary trustee approval and is considering it now. Will lying about it make them more or less likely to agree? Be more responsible so our daughters don't face endless 2 day weeks.
