@Tempegov Love the events & notifications, but can we please include a visual map of the closed streets in future? At least for big annual ones like Ironman or events with 10-20+ items. That would be really helpful to have when telling people on the go.
Thank you to all the staff & volunteers in the heat!! I love Tempe for this. FINALLY got rid of all types of waste that would've just sat or ended in the landfill. Quick way to donate office supplies for any teachers that could use it, safely dispose of chemical cans, & more! 😁
Fantastic interview by @ASUHondula highlighting the importance of #shade in reducing #heatburden and how we need to re-examine rules that make it hard to make more of it.

After 500 meetings and feedback from over 10,000 residents, Mayors and other elected leaders from 32 cities, towns, counties & tribes in Maricopa County unanimously approved a multi-modal transportation plan. Lend your voice to put Prop 400 on the ballot: https://t.co/jdHdgpFIe2
Proposition 400 represents the will of local voters supporting local public transportation. The mere fact the legislature can prevent us from voting on this is horrendous. Let Maricopa County residents vote on their own future. https://t.co/88vw73JhHh via @azcentral
