Thank you to the hard working reporters at the AJC who covered the Capitol! We didn’t always agree but we always respected the job you were given. Keep your head up!! #gapol
In 2009 ND and I met @TPridemore and she became our Cobb County chair for Deal for Governor. She co chaired Deal Inaugural in 2011 and 2014. She served as director of Workforce Development for GND. So proud to see her excel to Chair of NARUC. She has a servants heart and now will assist @realDonaldTrump with his agenda.
It was an honor to be with former Governor Deal as he was inducted into Georgia’s Veterans Hall of Fame today for his 40 years of public service for the State of Georgia.
Great time Friday on the river reminiscing successes and failures of GA’s political past. Hearing the stories of the Harris & Miller Administration dealing with the 3rd floor never get old to this has been politico. ND did ask where Watson was….. someone has to work! #gapol
@LordTinsdale @FOX5Atlanta Ditto. Dale once asked me if I thought I qualified for the local ag property tax exemption, I told him to come up and ask me the day we pregnancy checked cows. He said “I think you qualify”.
Deal Riley is pleased to welcome Terry England. Terry will bring years of experience, specializing in fiscal issues, while offering DRA clients counsel in navigating state government. Along with former Governor Deal, he will serve in a consulting capacity,
In 1993, a young LA to a freshman Congressman met a State Senator from Blue Ridge. Campaigns, Governing & Life allowed for our friendship to grow. SDR and Spiro were a solid partnership under the Gold Dome. I will forever miss my good friend from Blue Ridge. God speed SDR!!
Just imagine if SDP had put as much focus and prep in being a US Senator, he might have actually accomplished something over 6 years. My recall of history and his are not synonymous but then again, I am not on the ballot! #gpafunding#balancedfederalbudget#debtceiling
Former Governor Nathan Deal statement “Senator Johnny Isakson was a public servant who took his responsibility to the public very seriously! He was a personal friend that I could always count on to put righteousness about politics. He was a refreshing voice of reason!” Nathan Deal
@politicalinsidr So sorry for your loss. Senator Cleland was a humble public servant for our state and nation. His sacrifices and accomplishments will forever be remembered and honored.
One of my favorite memories, The time when Mack said “CR you might want to listen to this” Mack was a talented, energetic, and trusted politico with an unlimited future. We miss him and cherish the memories we had with him. 7 years ago, time passes too quickly. #NeverForget
@politicalinsidr@markniesse@MayaTPrabhu@UGA I may want to dust off my memory of “Gerrymadering 101” 1995, 2001, 2005 and 2011 gave me an education of what the courts can draw if no agreement, what you shouldn’t do, what fixes it and a process the DOJ said no objection and no DOJ approval needed. In no particular order.
@bluestein @LordTinsdale After a quick conversation with the Commission as to why, who & really…… Deal For Governor has been dormant for years, post 2020, DFG can now file termination papers. Until termination has occurred, staff keeps the committee active. When the staff did this, it showed as new.
@bluestein @LordTinsdale I have no knowledge of any such account. The only account under this name and office was created in 2009 and has been dormant since 2019, five years post last cycle.
Happy Birthday to Rogers Wade, my friend and long-time mentor! Enjoyed being with Rogers last night and catching up with with some old friends as well. @GovernorDeal@senatorisakson
@TPridemore@KalebMcMichen Rhonda serves the State of Georgia with unconditional loyalty! We should all want to emulate her work ethic and desire to always see our state succeed.
Proud of my oldest son Jake, who turned 18 on 12/4/20, registered to vote and voted today for @SenatorLoeffler & @Perduesenate but the reality of Jake being 18 years old son is still sinking in, slowly!!
