the job market is hesitant to employ onshore people with temporary/bridging visas. There are 18000 applicants awaiting #887 visa (PR) for over 24 months now, if you can prioritize #887 visa processing could be a win-win for all.

There's clear hypocrisy about attractn migrants to regions. 887PR applicants were lured to regions on 489 visas. That 887PR incentive is a trap to keep migrants waiting 2yrs to move on with their lives.
