Kaiser Permanente and PG&E funneled hundreds of thousands to Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s nonprofit — while raking in hundreds of millions in state payments and contracts under Governor Gavin Newsom.

According to OpenTheBooks:
Newsom’s campaigns pocketed $10.6 Million from 979 state vendors who received $6.2 Billion as of 2022.

The Representation Project (founded by Jennifer in 2011) paid her over $3.7 Million (including $2.3M in salary) through 2018 — plus funneled more cash to her for-profit film company.

• Kaiser donated $20K → then scored $172M+ from the state, including a $500M no-bid pandemic contract.
• PG&E gave $358K → got $323M+ in state payments in 2021 alone. PG&E even had a board seat at the nonprofit and produced her films.

This all timed with Newsom’s political rise. Then PG&E went bankrupt after deadly wildfires… and Newsom signed a $21 BILLION ratepayer-backed bailout.

Now the DOJ is investigating Siebel Newsom’s taxes and nonprofits via whistleblower complaints.

California taxpayers deserve answers. This looks like pay-to-play on steroids.

We should not be trying to force owners to sell ownership of THEIR OWN companies so we can redistribute their wealth to others.

That’s wrong and doesn’t create the right incentives.
