Given the ICAC report released today, is it likely that we'll see another by-election in Drummoyne before March? What is the latest that a by-election can be called before a general election in NSW?

There's a simple solution to this conversation, if the government needs revenue it has a little tool called tax. Governments are very good at counter cyclical fiscal policy in bad times, it's a shame they find it so hard to raise taxes when they're needed. #insiders

@MatthewBevan @ekyllier @AlanBerndt Yep. Aus and NZ are the only democracies left with 3 year terms. 4 years has been the standard for a while, and 5 is becoming increasingly common.
