@ChrisMasonBBC I'm a Newscast devotee but have to say this has been one of the best episodes in terms of added insight brought by well-chosen guests Sir Simon McDonald and Emma Pinchbeck. An episode brimming over with analysis and context!
@SWT_Update Before you even dream of closing your ticket office, you need to invest heavily in your website. It is unable to sell me a ticket to West Dulwich (because 2 changes of trains are involved, I presume?), while the Trainline can deliver accurate times and prices
@NationalGallery - Great online talk about Nalini Malani's reaction to the collection, delivered with real passion and conviction. - Looking forward to visiting before June 11
@BBCr4today - Presenter had trouble pronouncing Waldemar Januszczak's name and sounded completely uncomfortable and unprepared discussing a Reynolds painting. Not your normal standard?!
In 14 years as a doctor I’ve never known such horrific conditions. Patients dying on trolleys with zero dignity. Or screaming & moaning in corridors. Dickensian overcrowding, total implosion. Despair. Weeping staff. Abject misery.
Do you care at all @Jeremy_Hunt? @SteveBarclay?
@iomnewspapers I know my timing was bad when I messaged you on Sept 8th with a proposal for a 2024 series of 'this week 80 years ago', but is there any chance of a reply please?
@stefanbednar Very sorry Stefan - I bought Wendy's tickets and was going to come with daughter & Jane Bailey. Really hope this will happen when things pick up. In the meantime, may your Christmas be a good one x
@stefanbednar Looking forward to coming on the 17th (I have taken Wendy's tickets from her). May dash for a train without saying hallo, but I am sure you will be mobbed after anyway x
@uboatnet - appreciated your website when reading a June 1944 letter of my mother's about going on a "1016" (she was a Wren) - helped me identify what it was. If you are interested, I can send her comments
@jaffacakes What are you thinking of?! Launching a new product WRAPPED IN PLASTIC PACKAGING at the time of Cop26 - it should have been part of your product launch planning that new products should not damage the environment.
@Philippa_Perry You say so clearly what it has taken me decades to understand (mistaking good chemistry/prisoner of childhood, and the whole of your Sept 12 column) and I now lob extracts at my 20 year-old. Thank you!
@arthistorynews@artbabysophie It has been wonderful! Like having a great art history lecture in your home, whenever you want it, on tap. Really helped satisfy my art/museum/exhibition cravings. I am still working my way through the back catalogue: great to anticipate previous editions!
