@jaycenhorton@BITMAINtech $1500 seriously? No way. Not at current GPU prices. My $550 Vega 56's are now $800 depending on where you go. RX480's were a maybe a while ago. I have arguments for GPU vs ASIC pro and con. Didn't @VitalikButerin say something a while back about energy consumption with GPU rigs?
@aatishrZA@BITMAINtech It's used hardware. Same for Monero. Network hashrates and such jumped up months ago, most likely them "testing" thousands of miners before dumping them when say they changed their POW algorithm to POS or tweak their POW.
@SnoopDogg I disagree with violence in schools involving firearms. However....a disarmed populace allows for criminals and the government to step in against the people's will. Arm the teachers and train them....or give them a taser if they can't handle a gun.
@Lauren_Southern The muslims did this to the Jews in Jerusalem and Israel. They are not ALL bad, but the ones that aren't bad, are still rooting for the radicals secretly.
@Lauren_Southern Most people don't realize that this is a played out narrative by those who want to disrupt things to create instability. They let the de-stabilizers in and give them asylum, they don't adapt, and then they protect them.
@mir_btc Lets see... disrupts an "established" system, technologically advanced, bypasses standards set up for the rich not we the people, ability to be used as an asset store or transfer of value, scarcity drives value up, can use a trading bot, can mine my own or others... I'm a nerd.
@CryptoTeiki@ThornCoin This is not correct. You will receive back whatever the equivalent value in tokens is at the time, so 1000 Thorn staked at $8, Value rises to $100, you get 80 Thorn back.
@GabrielDVine When you take away firearms from law abiding citizens, you give the criminals the upper hand (and government primarily). You are a subject then, not a citizen. I'll keep mine.
