We've got a short and sweet update for you on where things stand with two potentially wintry systems early next week:
Monday-Monday evening: The system that has shown some potential for snow Monday into Monday evening, when highs may only reach the 30s, has trended drier in some recent model data. It's too soon to say it won't snow at all, but that's a possibility. And if it does snow, it's probably an inch or two at most.
Late Monday night-Tuesday: This system looks like the chance of a light wintry mix of snow, sleet, and/or freezing rain late Monday night into Tuesday morning -- if precipitation arrives early enough -- changing to rain by afternoon as temperatures warm above freezing. It could end up just rain if precipitation doesn't arrive until late morning or early afternoon after temperatures have already warmed.
We'll keep you posted throughout the weekend.
