@saascity_io Yes, agreed, should be one of the first things you check as a new user is do I have the option to download and/or delete my data. Not a sexy feature to build and so often results in being an afterthought.

Your users own their data, not you! Make sure you have features in place to give your users full control over their data, especially when offboarding. Downloading, masking and deleting data all count. #BuildInPublic

Thank you for this, what an amazing deep-dive into how it works, these technical deep-dive posts are being few and far between as so many just ship unread code. Understanding the complexities and details around designing systems at a lower level remind me of why I started programming in the first place.
