@OskSta I build address autocomplete search engines (not games, but billions of linked data points, complex structures, <1ms response, maybe similar?) and had to use C#. I spent more time messing around avoiding reference types + GCs than actually solving the problem, ended up going C++
@petersuhm It'd be interesting to hear how you split your time between Reform / Tailwind alongside parenting / general life, do you segregate it or just do whatever fits? I have an (almost) 2 year old, try and fit in big R&D projects with the day-to-day, interested to hear how you manage it
@woutervanlent@petersuhm I found that having a CPC landing page with no external links & just one next step (sign up) helped with measuring results from A/B testing. Some people just Googled my company to break free to the full site, this kind of helped work out what info was missing from the CPC page
@phuctm97 Something about the centred text on the "$108 $79 / Yr" line looks slightly off but probably doesn't matter, just how my eyes track the form. Really like the avatar
@OskSta Probably complete overkill for what you're thinking, but I was recently experimenting with Gerstner waves for a side project, seems to generate quite nice effects
@TJClarke_ I commute regularly from Worcs to Nottingham so in theory the station would have been really handy, but getting there by bus doesn't work (turns up 10 mins after my train leaves and only runs hourly) so it's quicker to just go from Foregate St instead
Nice walk around town back to the station ready for a busy week at @Swiftcomplete. Looking forward to being back in Nottingham in a few days for the Arsenal match too
(just) managed to get tickets for Southampton and Arsenal on bronze membership, hope there's a chance to upgrade to silver next season (or get a season ticket) to avoid having to panic click on random seats each match #NFFC
@yongfook@cashpandajesus @ChristianUffel I suppose in this scenario the AI would learn how you like to travel and just sort it for you - I was building a startup doing this about 4 yrs ago, the negative feedback was that people didn't want "pot luck" trips decided by a computer. Maybe things changed but get your point
@OskSta Oh interesting, I always sketched in a sort of session for a few hrs, but not getting the time now we have a 1 yr old. I'll give the 2 mins here and there a try, really nice drawings btw!
@OskSta How long does it take you to draw a full page like this @OskSta? Not that it's a rush, I sometimes sketch for fun as a break from coding (e.g. my header img) but it would take me a good while to do a full page like yours
