A democratic system (elected school board), funded with taxes to affect a public good. I’m a product of government schools (you probably are too)

This…I’ve always told my employees that they get this flexibility because I would want the same (though I don’t always get it). So many workplaces are stuck in the’80’s. When older managers complain why no one wants to work anymore, point to things like this
