@JanelForte can we talk about your most recent story about traffic in haslet? The story supposedly covers traffic issues in haslet, but only mentions Hyw 287. That highway is in Fort Worth, not haslet. We should be asking @MayorMattie about the plans for that road.

@JanelForte @MayorMattie I understand but the way the story came out makes it seem like he's talking about Hyw 287. So many people think this is only the fault of haslet when they don't realize that it's mostly FTW even though haslet has fallen way short for its part

@JanelForte @MayorMattie I live in haslet. We can't even get to 287 bc 156, Blue Mound, and Avondale- haslet road are so congested. Putting Hyw 170 through has helped. The people in Rhome and FTW use 287 more than we do. Still, the haslet mayor talked about funding, but any funding he finds will not help

@Hay0Jim @atrupar Jane, clearly you don't understand why the interest rate was so low. They slashed the interest rate to try and restart the economy after the pandemic shutdown. Then the economy got going TOO well and that's when inflation jumped. It actually had nothing to do with the presidents

@wfaa This is yet another reason that we need to expand our roads. The ones we have can't handle the number of people who live here now and more are moving here everyday.
