So @MLBTheShow lowered the quicksell values of 91s from 9,000 to 8,000 today, the same day 2 players went to a 91. Oh, and they also decreased 90s from 8,000 to 7,500. Here are the values from before the update according to @mlbtheshowzone . Definitely not shady at all!
Not sure why SDS thinks this is a good thing for market health… 20
Specifically. Cap should be 100. Investing doesn’t ruin the market. Does the opposite🤣
This is a sentiment I see a lot and I'd like to make a couple of points.
1. There's a lot of "just play the game bro" going around. Those people surely wouldn't be happy if the way they enjoy the game got fundamentally changes and were told to just "get over it". Some people's enjoyment of the game is playing the market, and that is perfectly okay
2. I am 100% on board with and would actually enjoy a limit to the number of orders you can actively have on a card at one time, just don't limit the total amount that I can own.
I agree that having 100-1000s of orders on a single card at the same price can be an issue, I don't think this is the solution.
The 20 card limit on cards in MLB 26 seems like SUCH a ridiculous and terrible idea that I actually can’t imagine any world that it isn’t reverted relatively quickly.
I could actually be okay with a limit of active orders on one card at a time, but a limit on what you can own is absurd

And it’s not close. Dude is cranking out multiple videos a day to help his community make stubs. His discord has some of the friendliest people in the community and they all are very selfless.
Madden @NFL is currently in a sad state. Ever since EA signed an exclusive rights agreement back in 2004, the game has gotten worse. With the possibility of the license being changed to non-exclusive, it is time to bring back competition into the market!!! @2K#BringBackNFL2K
Even if you think Madden is a good game, you should support the @NFL opening up the license and allowing competition to return. It'll make Madden better and give us options! The NFL reportedly is uncertain about keeping the license exclusive. Now is the time. #BringBackNFL2K
I need all of you to use your voice and spread the word! If any YouTubers at all would help, that would do wonders. I'm just one guy, we need the community here. I don't see why anyone would be in support of EA holding the exclusive sim NFL rights! #BringBackNFL2K
Curious, how many of you have gotten a season COLLECTION boss pack (or are close say <10 cards away from your next one.

.@SonySanDiego@MLBTheShow I want you to read this because I think it's something you need to see & think about considering your game is on a path that I don't think you guys are comprehending.
Is this the 2nd throwaway year in a row? What could you have possibly been doing all of 2023 in preparation for this game? I'm just genuinely curious what the game plan was. Here's what it feels like has changed since last year:
- Game has become more pay to win
- Foul balls are infinitely worse
- Battle Royale is now a waste of time
You saw how quickly people lost interest in the game last year, right? Now this was partly due to the 99s instantly being rolled out (which you adjusted the power creep & I'll applaud you for that) but that was not the only reason.
We have been playing the same two game modes for almost 10 years now. All it has ever been throughout the years is Ranked Seasons & Battle Royale. Events is worth it sometimes, but most of the time it isn't.
When it's time to brainstorm for next year, the first box you need to check is an additional competitive game mode for people. Something like weekend league. I want you to ask yourselves "Why should people continue playing ranked seasons after they reach world series?" & "Why would people continue to play Battle Royale after we completely ruined it?"
Something significant needs to be changed. Something has allowed you guys to think you can roll out the same legends for the same team affinities to use in the same game modes & your game will remain popular. That is not true. Content creators will have to stick through these slow times. The other 99.9% of the player base does not. Most will get burnt out & most won't waste their money on a repeated product.
I know you guys don't take anything I say seriously because you don't like people that will tell you negative things about your game. Criticism is what makes us all better. If we were surrounded by yes men we would never improve at anything.
You did an amazing job hiring @CBrevMLB, a smart dude who's great at communicating & knows everything about the community & the game. You need to find a few more guys like him to bring on the team. Guys who know how the game should be played but also understand that there's a bigger player base than just the competition.
Start fixing this shit before it's too late. Quit putting all the good cards behind packs. This is not what people loved about your game. Remember that your game was never pay to win & that's why people loved it. Do not throw that away.
