@ux_and It was reassuring to hear the panel speak about the lived reality of the selection process which helped humanize the experience for new candidates. There were practical "do's & don'ts" shared from resume and portfolio content to what managers are looking for during interviews.
The article summarizes all 3 types of empathy with a single definition. There is cognitive empathy (understand), somatic empathy (mirror), and emotional empathy (comfort). It's important to acknowledge that UX is typically focused on cognitive empathy.
