@esplanerd@JustadudeCA Thanks for the correction! I couldn’t remember all the details. I believe there was also a giant Ursula statue? And you could walk through and exit where they now have the Anna and Elsa meet and greet. It was a great experience. I heard it’s storage now.
As studio chairman in 1993, Jeffrey Katzenberg greenlit “A Goofy Movie” as a cheap Goof Troop cash-in but worried audiences couldn’t handle 90 minutes of “gawrsh” and “a-hyuck” and told director Kevin Lima to force Goofy voice actor Bill Farmer to speak in a normal voice, even suggesting they use Steve Martin instead. Over the next few days, Lima recorded Farmer and Jason Marsden (Max’s voice) using their normal speaking voice. Farmer later admitted he had a “complete meltdown” after the session, convinced the film was doomed. After a tense week, CEO Michael Eisner and vice chairman Roy E. Disney dropped by the studio unannounced and listed to the recordings. Horrified, they pulled Farmer aside and told him to go back to the Goofy voice and forced Katzenberg to give up the idea. Farmer re-recorded everything with full Goofy gusto. The whole saga stayed buried until it surfaced in “Not Just a Goof,” a documentary you can watch on D+.
To all the athletes representing @TeamUSA: I'm so proud of you. Your talent and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and Michelle and I will be joining Americans from across the country cheering you on.
Th Eagles just got ROBBED at home. The overturned grounding. The late hit on Baun as ballcarrier fought for the 1st. The 2nd-to-last-play uncalled pass interference at the goal line on Goedert by a jersey-grabbing Skinner.
To every white person who donated to that woman—shame on you. You didn’t just give money. You gave approval. You co-signed the dehumanization of a five-year-old Black child. You didn’t just reward racism, you invested in it. You told the world that calling a Black child a n*88er is not only acceptable—but profitable.
You are not “good people.” You are not misunderstood. You are the very problem this country refuses to confront. Your donation is not just financial—it’s moral bankruptcy. It’s proof that anti-Blackness is not just alive, but thriving in your hearts. You didn’t give to help her—you gave to hurt us. You didn’t donate out of compassion—you donated out of contempt.
You have no moral ground to stand on. Don’t talk to us about “unity.” Don’t you dare quote Dr. King. Don’t pretend to care about children, justice, or decency when you’ve paid to protect a racist who attacked the most vulnerable among us. You’ve exposed yourselves. And we see you clearly.
There is no excuse. No justification. No forgiveness without repentance. What you did is vile. And history will remember you not as defenders of free speech, but as funders of hate.
Your money may protect her for a moment—but truth will expose you forever.
