My office partnered with @CarpentersNYC on another successful backpack giveaway this afternoon, this time in Bowne Playground. We distributed over 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to help the students get the new school year off to a good start tomorrow!
Congratulations to our EST Joseph Geiger for being featured in @cityandstateny’s 2024 Labor Power 100!

Our members are working at some really great projects across NYC. Today's photo comes from a crew of our #UnionCarpenters working over at 60 Wall Street for Commodore Construction. Amazing job, brothers!
It was an honor for us to be part of the groundbreaking at the new South Brooklyn Marine Terminal today! This project is set to create more than 1,000 union jobs! To add to the celebration, we brought along a few of our apprentices, who may very well find work on this project!
200 strong tonight for @EddieGibbsNY who reps El Barrio, Randall’s Island, and parts of the Upper East Side and Central Harlem. @CarpentersNyc orange shirts were drippin’ tonight! #CarpentersRISE
As seen today at 127 30th Street this morning in Manhattan: Scabby is proud to have his union card! #unitedwestand against companies who try to screw the middle class!#unionstrong💪🏽😷
Yesterday we paid tribute to the construction workers who passed away in the last year at the Hardhat Mass. It was a somber day but it was incredible seeing so many NY construction workers in solidarity for fallen workers. Our condolences to the fallen workers honored yesterday.
#CARPENTERSRISE educates our members about the political processes and empowers us to take action. Join the movement to help safeguard our jobs and values by signing up today!

Behind every dollar stolen from a worker is a story of injustice and inequality. Let's stand united to ensure new laws aren't just written, but enforced fiercely. Together, we can reclaim what's rightfully ours. 💪 #EndWageTheft#EnforceFairness@ManhattanDA
Tax fraud & #wagetheft steal from everyone! A @UCBLaborCenter study of the construction industry #taxfraud epidemic shows that it costs U.S. taxpayers more than $10 billion a year, $$$ that could go towards schools, first responders & infrastrucure. #STOPTAXFRAUD
