@paulius60 @rshereme Russia has constantly attacked all its neighbours since over 500 years and the only ones they don't attack are the ones they're afraid of or those who are protected by someone they fear. They don't need a reason for that.
@ProjectLiberal You're very optimistic but I think before Austria gives up it's stupid "neutrality" (which was
forced upon us by the Russians) rather Russia itself joins NATO ๐คช
@reshetz The tides in ๐ช๐บ are changing, more and more politicians from different political camps see that enough is enough. Putain has fucked around with the sleeping dogs too much, now they wake up and he may find out.
@edtrimmer@DesiSanatani@fasc1nate As long as they're on the sidewalk basically cars can move but the drivers should be vigilant and ready to brake at any time. Unfortunately some drivers don't care and that's what (temporary) limits and fines are there for, because a few care more for their money than for kids.
@edtrimmer@DesiSanatani@fasc1nate Kids are NEVER responsible under a certain age (here in Austria by law until 12). These zones can be limited to certain times of the day but when there are hundreds if children walking around they absolutely make sense.
@DesiSanatani@fasc1nate The question is: Did he really speed or not (since he denied it). Because no matter how good a dad you are you must not endanger other parents kids. So I wonder if he was just falsely accused.
@universal_so @eyckelenburgher@JoshEakle@H_Bouwmeester To be safe from the Moscow sadists? That's understandable. Having the Harkonnens as a neighbour I'd also like to have an army of sandworms as a defence.
@universal_so @eyckelenburgher@JoshEakle Having NATO 100km from St. Petersburg is not an existential threat but ๐บ๐ฆ Ukraine@NATO at the same distance to Moscow like already the Baltics (NATO) is one? Aaaaallll right ๐คช
@universal_so @JoshEakle Then Ruzzia should simply stop attacking its neighbours to give them no reason to fire some missiles on Moscow. But that seems to be unthinkable for Moscow, since they've been doing nothing else than that since hundreds of years.
@TRHLofficial No it isn't. It's rather a way to avoid repeating Chamberlain's mistakes. Fascist dictators only back down when force is applied or promised as a reaction for playing stupid games. Since hubdreds of years Russia has always attacked its neighbors as soon as it saw weakness.
@LibertyLockPod They are constantly making threats like this since 2 years, Putain, Pestkov and Madvedev are talking about "this is the last red line" every few days. That's rather a sign of weakness of a dying zombie empire. No need to save it from falling apart.
@ryantyre@DouglasLoft@WallStreetSilv No, it's not. First article 5 is not triggered automatically, secound it's not applicable on a war that started before a country joined.
@WallStreetSilv Authoritarian bastards only understand the language of force. They will not use nukes or start an attack on NATO. The kremlin is full of sadistic fascists but they are not suicidal.
@skytopjf Polymer chemist => Random "plastics are bad" channel that says PET is full of softeners softeners since "polyethylene terephthalate" contains "phthalate".
@TorNygard2 @jojototh@NOELreports veto rights for single member states, so that all the Orbans, Ficos and whoever will be next can't block the whole union. 2/2
@TorNygard2 @jojototh@NOELreports A Putin minion could become PM in any member state. If the state is kicked out then, EU and NATO may lose dozens of its members an all those citizens who didn't vote for these authoritarians will lose their ๐ช๐บ citizenship. We should rather turn the ๐ช๐บ into a federation without 1/
