@PinkishIsTaken Most things are just chromium based these days except Firefox.
There is alot of things you can customise about it if you didn't like something. It's worth it to try tho. Lotts changed about it.
Ublock and all extensions work much better. But I get it. First step is hardest🫠

@PinkishIsTaken Come over to Firefox. U block works super nice n fine there. And with filters you can still adjust more on websites. Haven't had ads on YT since switching from Chrome. Frick google🖕

It has real chances to pass as EU Law to prevent gaming companies to kill videogames as soon as they dont support them anymore. They need to stay in a basic "functional (playable) state".

@PinkishIsTaken idk, depends. For big speedrunning events i think better diversity in many ways is always good.
And with submissions it mostly naturally comes by itself.
But that doesnt mean speedrunning community cant be a bit obnoxious sometimes too. Elitism still a problem here n there😔

(everyone can be one)
i do agree that more diversity is deserved.
The speedrunning community is great & diverse in every aspect, from skillfull to entertaining.

These competitive games really bring so many times the worst people out of the basement.

And over the last 15+ years GDQs, ESAs and many other events have done soo much good and raised a lot for charites too.
