@LynneStactia That's the first lady of south Africa ,she comes from the Moestepe family the owners of soundowns she is a business woman a physician by proffession
Towards his demise , Mugabe was being set up to fail. So he would be made to recite the same boring speeches which were only saved by his eloquence , but would contradict reality and make him look like a disconnected Head of State. Sometimes he would be given wrong speeches or made to read the same speech twice . To discount his fitness for office later on he would be made to trip physically, the Airport incident being testimony .
Leadership is about decisions . If you make unilateral decisions the collective will trap & trip you . If you make them with a Kitchen Cabinet , they will make sure your recipe is a disaster & noone eats what you prepare .
A few days ago i posted something on the necessity of" Think Tanks" in Governance and how they are only efficient to the extent of the humility and submission of those advised to their intellect & advisory .
Most Advisories collapse on the altar of vanity , where a leader can no longer be advised because he has assumed demi god status and he is feared not respected & therefore can only be cheered on rather than advised.
Where for example is the infamous Presidential Advisory Committee (PAC) , what happened to it ? Seemingly some of its members turned into public critics , a hint that their counsel was not being taken seriously. It is still a necessity though but a mistake at conception was to assemble what was presumed to be loyalists when in fact it just needed fearless constructive but brutally frank advisors.
So whoever for example advised on a CDF Valerio Sibanda pick for the Politburo, that person is an enemy of the State and is plotting against @edmnangagwa himself but pretending to love him the most . If ED processed this on his own then its time to slow down to some critical thinking before any public pronouncements. I am still comforted though that he commanded the humility to stay the Decision however it was arrived at.
Happy Sabbath folks

➡️ BOTSWANA MINISTER OF TECH: “Well that may be so, but if your expertise is fashion, what are you doing at a Technology conference? Shouldn’t you be at Cape Town Fashion Week?”
➡️ ZANU MINISTER OF ICT, MAVETERA: “Whatever! You’re lucky we’re not in Zimbabwe, my friend. I would organize for you to be taken, and our boys would make you eat those socks!

➡️ BOTSWANA MINISTER OF TECH: “ Madam, you are the one that started to insult me for no reason when I asked you about Zimbabwe’s plans to leverage the AI revolution. That is in line with the subject and purpose of this Conference...
You still have not answered that simple question, but now you’re going on to hurl insults at my Country and make personal threats on my person. That is undiplomatic and uncalled for.”
➡️ ZANU MINISTER OF ICT, MAVETERA: “Yes! I’ll put you in your place."

➡️ BOTSWANA MINISTER OF TECH: “The only rare quality your Mr. Mnangagwa has, is butchery and banditry. I hear you guys even abducted and tortured a young opposition MP last week. Who does that in 2023??? Yessus...🤦🏾♂️”

#Glossolalia
These are the kind of people - like the dubious preacher and socialite Passion Java - that President Emmerson Mnangagwa has surrounded himself with.
Fake prophets speaking in tongues, while name-dropping to flaunt power, influence and money.
Mnangagwa's name finds itself in this incoherent glossolalia; art of speaking in an unknown language practised especially by Pentecostal and charismatic or gospelpreneur Christians.
