Ruto can find Sh5,000 for thousands of watchmen, but when his daughter Charlene Ruto’s wedding came to his neighbourhood, his neighbours were left hungry and stranded outside.
Imagine living next door to a powerful man and still being treated like a stranger.
They stood outside razor wire, looking through the fence as food, celebration and privilege unfolded on the other side.
That fence was more than a security barrier.
It became a picture of Kenya today: the haves inside, the have nots outside, watching their own country’s wealth pass them by.
These are people who should have been neighbours, not spectators.
You cannot preach hustler politics to people and then make them stand outside your fence while you celebrate in comfort.
This is exactly why Kenyans are angry.
The problem is not that someone is celebrating.
The problem is when ordinary people are made to feel that they are not worthy of sharing even a meal with those who live among them.
A country divided by razor wire is a country crying for change.
A president in kenya can earn roughly over 100 million in a 5 year term. Why would a person be allowed to spend 6 billion just to earn around slightly over 1.5 % of that in return
Just a reminder that those politician’s kids are the ones used to register offshore companies that are fleecing us. Some don’t even care they appear in local CR12s.
I have seen my fellow tribesmen congratulating Charlene, but when one of ours is married to another tribe they disown her.
Enyewe we're very far from the reality.
William Ruto has 20 advisers, each reportedly taking home about KSh 1.8 million a month, plus allowances. That is a very expensive committee of wisdom.
But what exactly are these people advising him on?
Is it how to borrow more until Kenya is buried under debt? How to squeeze more taxes out of an already struggling population? How to turn every government platform into another revenue-collection machine while Kenyans struggle to put food on the table?
Perhaps they are advising him on how to manage dissent, intimidate critics and turn state institutions into political weapons. If so, at least we would understand why the government keeps hiring so many advisers.
Because when an administration employs 20 highly paid advisers and the country still has exploding debt, rising taxes, collapsing purchasing power and growing public anger, Kenyans are entitled to ask what these advisers are actually advising.
Maybe the problem isn't that Ruto lacks advisers. Maybe he has too many and still isn't listening to the right ones.
At KSh 1.8 million each every month, those advisers should be producing solutions, not excuses.
Twenty advisers. Millions in public money. Kenya is still waiting for the advice to show up.

When Kuria said he understands how presidential elections are won, I knew instantly that I was watching a comedy show
The man who could not deliver Ol Kalau with a budget stretching to billions of shillings is suddenly an expert in winning presidential elections
The only thing I remember about Kilgoris are the five innocent people who were shot dead in April 2025 by William Ruto's killer militia.
They were only trying to protect a community land.
Instead of being heard, the killer regime shot them dead and left several nursing gunshot wounds.
The people of Kilgoris MUST not forget that William Ruto is a Satanist!
Pesa zetu zinafund lifestyle ya first family apa tunakufa juu hatuwezi afford healthcare, watoto hawawezi enda shule, you cant even practice your own democratic rights properly, ati alafu we should separate the demon from the devil. Nyef nyef btw. Kwani tulikuwa tunapigania nin?
