It is very stupid to say marriage benefits men more than women.

It is equally absurd to say marriage benefits women more than men.

Social media has turned marriage into another useless gender competition.

Marriage is supposed to benefit TWO people.

Legal and moral way to reduce your bills.

Legal and moral way to satisfy each other sexually without sleeping around.

A medical way to reduce the risks that come with multiple sexual partners.

Cheap and easiest way of having children.

A good method of building a family.

A proper way to reduce your burdens and share responsibilities.

You have the ability to combine resources and build wealth.

You have companionship and someone to face life with.

But somehow, people now calculate every sacrifice.

Cooking for a man is slavery, but if the man cooks it, it’s love.

“A man paying most of the bills makes his wife a liability, but when he loses his job and his wife takes up the role, it’s loyalty .”

Everybody is keeping score.

The funniest part?

Some women want traditional husbands while calling traditional female roles oppression.

Some men want traditional wives while refusing to carry traditional male responsibilities.

Both are hypocrites.

Marriage is not supposed to be one person sacrificing while the other person enjoys.

Your husband should benefit from marrying you.

Your wife should benefit from marrying you.

If your spouse’s life did not become better because you entered it, what exactly are you doing there?

And if your partner contributes absolutely nothing to your life, you haven’t discovered that marriage benefits one gender more.

You simply married badly.
