@PaulGarvey4 Demoralising! Retired teacher of 42 years. I’ve endured many inspections, and I’ve seen good teachers brought down by Ofsted. We can all have an ‘off’ day. One of my children’s teachers was driven to early retirement after one of their visits. My children thrived under her care.
So looking forward to my all time favourite - GUYS & DOLLS - last night , but the experience was spoiled by the fact that we were absolutely freezing!! Certainly don’t go to the theatre expecting to be offered a blanket!! VERY POOR.

@prodnose What wonderful raconteuring at The Lowry last night. Your ‘exams’ story took me back to ‘Mark Reading’ in front of the whole school, the ‘walk of shame’ to stand in the back row with others who didn’t make the ‘pass mark’ Ours wasn’t a ladder but a CANOE… just because
@RogersHistory I am now retired from the teaching profession, and have ‘endured’ several OFSTED visits. This phrase always comes to mind whenI hear about their inspections:
‘ I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.’
DLCC would like to express their gratitude to Kevin at @SentinelMon and Paul at @Bolton_CCTV for their very kind gesture of providing CCTV and monitoring at our club after our recent episode of mindless vandalism. Thank you so much.
