A dream that took years has now finally manifested. I’m honored to now officially be a lawyer and I am forever indebted to Howard University School of Law.

I really love that I'm in a place to financially just take care of "little" things for my friends. Especially if it means I get to spend more time and have experiences with them without having to stress about "money"
This is what wealth looks like for me
People really do fumble you b/c they don't know what to do with you. They never experienced someone of your caliber before so they treat you how they would normally treat everyone else & that's exactly where they lose you at...
One of my best friends called a family meeting tonight, we rushed over and he revealed to us that he got a life changing job but sadly will be moving across the country… on Monday?!?! Listen- love on your ppl now, because life does not guarantee you unlimited time with them
The most underrated act of kindness is simply letting people be. Let them mispronounce a word, talk too much about a show they love, or get excited about something you don't quite understand. Everyone has something that lights them up, let them shine, even if it's not your thing.
Ask your partner how they slept. How their day was. What’s on their mind. Why they’ve been quiet. What they want to eat. Where they want to go. Make it a habit. Never let them feel unseen or unheard. ❤️
My therapist told me:
People's negative traits are usually the opposite of their love languages.

Isolating…..Quality Time
Avoidance……..Physical Touch
Impulsive Shopping......Gift Giving
Shutting down .….Words of Affirmation
