This is Revd Trystan signing off from Christ Church social media. It has been a wonderful decade and we have hugely appreciated the love and kindness we have been shown. We hope that our contribution to your lives will remain in your hearts, just as you will remain in ours 😊
With Revd Trystan having left Christ Church, he's set up a mailing list for you to be informed of his publications, blog posts, and videos. If you would like to be kept informed of his writing via email, please fill in this form:

Sad for the wonderful church community of Christ Church in Roath Park, Cardiff… but we are looking forward to Revd Dr Trystan starting his new post as Director of Ministry Development for the Church in Wales at the beginning of February 😊
So sad to say goodbye to Revd Trystan, Sandra, & family, but also wonderful to celebrate the past decade. Service included a brilliant reflection, uplifting music, & a moving montage of photos. Thanks to all who made this a special service – we'll miss you Vicarage family!
We ask the LORD's blessing on @trystan_hughes and our friends @ChristChCardiff as Trystan moves on to pastures new. May God richly bless your work, Trystan, and continue to bless the Christchurch family.
Do join us this coming Sunday morning to give thanks for the past wonderful decade at our church and to say a proper goodbye to Revd Trystan, Sandra, and the kids. Service starts at 10am on Sunday (8 January). All welcome!
A stunning blog post about the #CostOfLivingCrisis
"It is, after all, our duty and calling to reach out to the marginalised and vulnerable, to empower and enable people, and to ensure power balances are redressed."
New blog post on the Cost of Living crisis. At the beginning of a new year, I reflect on the challenge of the cost of living crisis to our theology and our everyday lives as Christians.

A really helpful and timely reminder of what ecumenism can be from @trystan_hughes following the appointment of @sbrynach as Chief Executive of @CytunNew
New blog post - seven reasons why churches must work together. With the appointment of my good friend @sbrynach as Chief Executive of @CytunNew (Churches Together in Wales), I thought this was a good time to share a blog post on ecumenism I wrote recently

Join us to sing carols outside Christ Church - to lift people’s hearts with the joy of the Christmas message as they walk or drive past. Tomorrow (Wed 21 Dec) at 6pm. All welcome!
We had a such a lovely Carol Service last night. Around 100 people came of all ages to sing carols and hear the amazing Christmas message in our readings. Thanks to our musical director Jane and to the wonderful choir for a special evening!
