Today we found out that 55 homeless children died between 2019 and 2023 because of the temporary accommodation they were housed in.

42 of the children were under 1...

The most likely cause of death is that they did not have access to a cot

It’s been a day. The @TA_APPG team handed in our Silent Nightmare campaign to Downing Str. & even though the guidance has been changed, after hearing the new figures of 55 child deaths in TA, we know more needs to be done. @RishiSunak we need a Task Force to address TA 1/

In sum. Can we please just put party politics aside and fix the things that need fixing so that the most vulnerable and those in TA can get the housing and support they need? So they can have experiences of TA that are truly short, safe and healthy.
