Twelve years ago, we promised children on a remote island in Lagos that we would build them a school.
A promise we never imagined would become our most challenging journey.
But this year, we kept it - and I am deeply fulfilled.💙
What began as an adventurous trip into some of Lagos’ most remote riverine communities - where hundreds of children played freely in the lagoon with no classroom or school in sight - became a 12-year commitment. We taught in small huts, supported local teachers, and never let go of the vision.
Today, that journey stands as the Slum2School Green Academy: a fully eco-friendly school powered by solar energy, with rainwater harvesting and purification systems, waste-to-biogas technology, biodiversity learning areas, and staff quarters for teachers.
Growing up, we were taught that our promise must always be our bond. Today, we proved that - to the children, the community, and ourselves.
This project demanded sweat and sacrifice, relentless determination, and an unexplainable zeal to defy all odds and bring education to this community.
My deepest gratitude to our incredible volunteers, board, staff, and partners @slum2school - including Biomerieux, HP, Norwegian Embassy, Universal Music Group, United Airlines, Lagos State Government through Epe Local Government and SUBEB, and many others whose support made the Slum2School Green Academy possible.
Today, 250 deserving children are walking into their very first classroom, learning on full scholarship in a world-class learning environment built on dignity, sustainability, and the future.
This is what happens when courage refuses to give up on children - and when we unite to ensure that even the most marginalized are given the very best.
Our goal is to deepen partnerships with the private sector and government to ensure that every child in Nigeria and across Africa has access to quality education and that no child is left behind.
We invite everyone to join us as we scale to new communities.

@Wizarab10 God is sovereign. I am AS,so is my husband. We’ve had 3 children. AA, AS, AA… Science has evolved and there are cost implicative interventions. If you choose to marry him, be sure you both are financially empowered because the journey ahead is not for ‘storytellers. Best wishes.
@instablog9ja I see nothing wrong with her reaction, this is just a typical human reaction here… she lost not one, but two of her phones with all her contacts and business conversations there in.
Celebrating another year of a fabulous life ordained by God…
His mercy is evident in every twist and turn in my life… With a heart full of Faith and a spirit so bold… here’s to another Year of achieving/attaining great dimensions.🍷💐✨🙏
Rev. Isaac Omolehin was to a minister for 7 days in a 7-day crusade in the USA 🇺🇸 & only one person was in attendance.
On the first day, only one person attended the crusade.
The host considered canceling the crusade but since 1 person, a lady, attended the first day, they considered doing it on the 2nd day as well.
They asked her if she would come, she said she wasn’t sure.
This story is a really intriguing one, pls watch 👇
I pray for you that the mercy of God will locate you in this season.
One prayer point you also need to add to the list this year:
Anywhere my enemies have gone ahead to wait for me and attack me this year, O God, arise and destroy their plans.
Pray it now 🔥 🔥🔥
Today, a sad day I don't ever wish to happen to anyone.
I lost my nephew, a 2days old baby due to negligence by @GH_Gbagada and we were told to take it as an act of God.
My sister was bullied by the doctor and induced into an early labour
My son, Oluwatise, urgently needs life-saving heart surgery. We're at OAUTHC, and the cost is ₦9M. We only have ₦1.7M and have contacted NGOs like Kanu Heart Foundation, but they are out of funds.
Plz, any amount will help 🙏
Thank you.

A couple of months ago, I started reading just three chapters of the New Testament daily.
I finished Revelations 22 today. I got so familiar with the gospel. The apostles essentially said the same thing. Jesus too.
I am way stronger in the faith. Guys, read the Bible. Please
I wrote this song, firstly as a call to instruct and urge my own heart to fervent, continuing prayer…
