@saranalateeqi Oof, that's horrible. Depending on the nature, I tend to respond via other channels like shoot a quick screencast, do a screenshare, or have a phone call. It helps get it off my plate faster and be more actionable for the recipient.
@EdLatimore It comes down to the stories we tell ourselves about the actions we take. They either enforce our own accountability for those actions or enable us to shift the blame to some external factor.
@wilreynolds Long term vision is realized by the actions derived from deep insights like this. Can't have the patience necessary for this sort of thing if all you want is the outcome of the number one spot.
@EdLatimore Bruh. You've got a lot of catching up to do 😁
I cycle through Frank's Red Hot, Sriracha, Tabasco, Salsa. Almost every day is a different spicy complement to my eggs.
@zaoyang I've become more keenly aware of my digital addictions and have been working on minimizing the env factors that trigger. Escapism due to stress was a big one. Meditation has been a great tool to mitigate that. This thread is so insightful.
1/ Everyone knows about "deliberate practice" "grit", but how do you apply these tactically. Physical sports like basketball have drills and habits that you can apply and idols like MJ or Lebron. Are there the equivalent? Meaning what habits do you need to unlearn and learn? https://t.co/6LAF2o4LKv
@SJ_Eblen @kcorr54 @RT_Falconer @AshleyJudd@MiraSorvino@NZStuff Those two things separately are rage inducing enough. Put them together and I'd give anyone a pass to flip their shit.
@APompliano In reality "does it have the potential to make me more money than I have right now?" seems to engage people. Experience will take care of the rest.
@toddmillionaire I call it marriage because oftentimes we're bound to those thoughts for better or worse. It takes real work to assess whether they are leading us toward or away from what we want in life.
@toddmillionaire Depends on who/what you're married to. Is your spouse working with you to reach higher. Are you espousing an abundance mindset or one of lack? I'd argue the marriage with your thoughts is the first that needs to be addressed before any other.
