I saw this in Sahih al-Bukhari, an authentic and widely accepted Hadith.
So saying the footnote contradicts the Quran means that Sahih al-Bukhari isn't authentic.

Why are you using modern translation "best of planners" to soften the key Arabic word "makr" which translates as cunning or deception?
