Just received an email from the first support ticket to "please wait" (more). Seems this ticket is open differently?

Forgive me for giving up though. A matter of one minute going on for weeks now. 🤷‍♂️

Almost got denied boarding on an Air India from Bali (DPS) to Frankfurt (FRA).

Reason: “As a Swiss citizen, you need a visa for Germany.”

I can confirm once again that I have not received any email from you — including spam folder checks.

At this point, however, the email itself has unfortunately become irrelevant to me.

After more than three weeks of trying to obtain clarification

Instead, the complete inability to provide a clear answer over a period of weeks has unfortunately destroyed my confidence in the process entirely.

So while I appreciate the repeated statements that an email was supposedly sent,

@airindia 2/4 regarding an extremely simple visa/TIMATIC question, I have now decided that I will not book Air India again for this trip.

Ironically, a short and straightforward confirmation within a few minutes would likely have resulted in three return tickets from Bali to Frankfurt

Not 3 weeks.

Another airline confirmed, in writing, within 10 minutes(!) that no visa is needed. Just asked because @airindia made me nervous.

Guess where we are (against our will) booked now.

With a bit of disappointment, I will most likely book another airline tomorrow.

My wife understandably no longer feels comfortable with this situation, and the fact that such a simple issue still could not be clearly clarified after several weeks unfortunately

On Monday I'll have to choose another airline for the next trip, despite actually preferring the DPS–DEL–FRA connection.

A pity, because the flight itself was genuinely very good.

After ~3 weeks, a support ticket, embassy confirmations, and even public escalation here on X, I still have not received a concrete answer to a fairly simple question:

This was only resolved because I could "also" produce a German passport.

I hope this was some isolated training / ground handling issue at DPS — because I was planning to book the same route again very soon together with my "Swiss only" wife.
