This war might have already broken the record for the highest number of AI-generated videos and images that have gone viral during a conflict.
Interestingly, I said the exact same thing right after the 12-day war in June.
Welcome to our brave new world of AI misinformation.
1. Missile trails are cut in half.
2. Merged cars along the road.
3. Skyline doesn't match that of Tel Aviv's
4. The overall layout and voice of the person are common in current AI models.
Very obvious AI.

If the people you follow and trust share fake clips, and when corrected they either leave the post up, delete it without acknowledging the mistake, or fail to issue a correction, you should not be following them.
No, this video does not show an Israeli nuclear power plant exploding. The video is from 2017 and shows an exploding munitions depot in Balakliya, eastern Ukraine.
You can find the result yourself with a reverse image search that leads to 8 year old article by Task and Purpose.
Claim is false. We literally have Swedish media reporting about how international media is reporting about the mass school shooting.
Also, it's currently at least 11 killed, not 10.

@elonmusk@Inevitablewest Seriously, do a Google search instead of spreading false claims. We literally have Swedish media reporting about how international media is reporting about the mass school shooting.

Russian and Belarusian propaganda thrives online in the EU despite sanctions, - @ScienceFeedback and @Alliance4Europe report.
Nearly three years after the EU imposed sanctions on Russian and Belarusian state-controlled media and propagandists, many remain freely accessible across major social media platforms, undermining efforts to curb disinformation.
▪️Official channels for Russian state media like RIA Novosti, Sputnik, and Russia Today remain accessible on platforms such as Telegram, with some even generating ad revenue.
▪️Prominent propagandists like Vladimir Solovyov and Alexander Dugin maintain active pages on Facebook.
▪️Unofficial pages and accounts on Facebook, X, and YouTube continue to republish content from sanctioned outlets like RT in major European languages, reaching broad audiences.
▪️Coordinated Pravda network targets Europe through 61 websites that republish Russian propaganda tailored to each EU member state and beyond.
▪️Belarusian state media are unaddressed. They face little to no moderation, with their content widely available across platforms.
Despite explicit EU sanctions, 83% of flagged accounts remain online, and additional searches uncovered 370 more cases of sanctioned content or amplifiers, collectively amassing millions of followers. Alarmingly, some platforms provide monetization opportunities for these accounts.

This image of Bashar al-Assad is currently circulating online with claims it shows him in Moscow, his first public appearance since fleeing Syria.
But that's false. The image was taken in February 2023 and shows Assad visiting victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake in Aleppo.
Thread: Dear international journalists. Our Swedish brochure "In case of Crisis or War" is now out in English (and other languages). Some remarks if you report about it. First of all do not link it to anything that happens today, it was long planned. https://t.co/sZLf3xjgAg
If I were in charge of moderation at a social media platform, one of my first decisions would be to downgrade all posts starting with BREAKING in caps.
The UK government is not "thinking about" arresting Elon Musk. This is complete nonsense.
