-Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine worked—safe, early treatments that were deliberately suppressed.

Récemment j’étais à un event avec des libéraux et on parlait exactement de ça.

La citation de Milei résume parfaitement le problème :

« Vous ne pouvez pas lever le drapeau blanc devant la Gauche. Ne leur cédez jamais 1 centimètre. Ils veulent que le pays s’effondre. Ils ne sont pas de bonne foi. Ils préfèrent régner en enfer que de servir au paradis. »

Ce que Milei a compris (et que trop de libéraux français n’ont toujours pas intégré) :
On ne débat pas avec des gens qui nient le bon sens et la donnée.

On est face à un combat rationnel vs émotionnel + mensonge.
Et dans ce combat, si tu restes « gentil », poli, pédagogique… tu perds.

Le grand défaut des libéraux en France :
On est trop civilisés.
On veut trop gagner « par les arguments ».
On croit encore qu’il suffit d’expliquer la data, le libre-échange, l’absence d’intervention de l’État, et que les gens vont finir par comprendre.

Spoiler : non.

Le moment où tu commences à sortir les chiffres, les études, les théories économiques solides…
Ils trouvent toujours une parade.
Toujours.
« Oui mais les externalités », « oui mais les inégalités », « oui mais le climat », « oui mais les riches », « oui mais l’humain n’est pas un homo economicus »…

Ce n’est jamais une quête de vérité.
C’est une guerre de position.

Donc ce que les libéraux doivent faire en France :
Radicaliser le discours.

Pas devenir des extrémistes.
Mais arrêter d’être des gentils qui s’excusent d’avoir raison.

Arrêter de céder 1 centimètre.
Arrêter de chercher le consensus avec ceux qui veulent ton échec.
Arrêter de croire que le débat d’idées est symétrique.

La gauche (et une partie de la droite étatiste) n’est pas dans la recherche de la vérité.
Elle est dans la construction d’un récit émotionnel qui justifie toujours plus de pouvoir, toujours plus de contrôle, toujours plus d’État.

Face à ça, la politesse libérale classique est une faiblesse stratégique.

Ce qu’il faut faire concrètement :
- Dire les choses brutalement quand elles sont vraies.
- Refuser de valider les prémisses absurdes.
- Ne plus accepter de « dialoguer » avec ceux qui nient les faits de base.
- Assumer que certaines idées ne méritent pas d’être traitées avec respect.
- Passer de « je vais t’expliquer » à « tu mens et voici pourquoi ».

Milei n’a pas gagné en Argentine en étant le plus nuancé de la salle.
Il a gagné en disant clairement :
« Ils ne sont pas de bonne foi. Ne leur cédez rien. »

Les libéraux français qui continuent de jouer au gentleman pendant que le pays s’effondre sous le poids de l’État…
Ils font exactement ce que Milei leur dit de ne plus faire.

On n’est plus dans un débat d’idées.
On est dans un combat culturel et politique.

Et dans un combat,
celui qui lève le drapeau blanc
perd.
