@PressStartKofi I've been using Backloggd to keep track of just that, and it gets a recommendation from me! My current total thus far in 2021 is a measley 55 games ๐

So...uh...after finally finishing all three of Ubisoft's tentpole 2020 open world things, I can now confidently admit that Fenyx Rising was by far my favorite of the bunch ๐
@matchristian I play all the entries in a series without hopping around mostly out of feelings of obligation and completeness, but I also do it to see studios iterate on a formula. I find it tends to give me a greater appreciation for the smaller changes and tweaks made from entry to entry!
@matchristian Having played through Doom 3 for the first time a couple months ago while prepping myself for Eternal, I was really struck by how much DNA it shares with Dead Space. The color palettes are nearly identical!
@Gamerheadspc @JTorto40 If you're just looking for a JRPG for a ton of content and solid turn-based RPG combat, then Octopath Traveler will have you covered. If you're looking for a compelling narrative out of your next RPG joyride, then any Final Fantasy game might be more your speed.
@JTorto40 If you're looking to dive into the JRPG deep end, you can't go wrong with any Final Fantasy game on Switch. Final Fantasy 7, 9, 10 and 12 are all available and having them available on the go is great!
@JTorto40 Skyrim and Diablo 3 are on switch! They both exist on plenty of other platforms, but the Switch handles them both surprisingly well. If you haven't played either yet, they're both perfect for anyone new to RPG's.
