Just want to highlight how truly amazing the likes of Claude / codex are for companies. 8 months ago my company’s annual spending on SAAS was £120k per annum.
Today that spending is down to £400 we have built all our own tech for literally everything apart from Shopify.
@Lovable anyway we can verify
I’m def a power user 🤣
£100k MRR and growing and a full management system that is beyond wild! Loveable tells me it would have cost £2-4m to build pre AI
@gregisenberg Check out what I’m doing for your number 1
I’m scaling community gardens across the UK I’ve opened up 250+ acres in 3 years with 5000 plus growing their own food organically.
The data behind the concept, the average time someone waits to grow with the gov is 10 yearrs
@alexfmac He was indeed. I remember the episode where he wanted to become a footballer. Incredibly talented man and I agree fully with your tweet.
We all talk mental health but when it doesn’t fit every narrative we turn on those who most definitely need it most.
I have 3 people close to me who suffer from bipolar disorder.
One of them (a team member) tragically took his own life.
He was an extremely talented and normally quiet young man, trained as an accountant.
His symptoms in manic episodes were consistent with Ye’s. He would go on public anti-Semitic and racist rants on social media.
He would always emerge from these episodes with deep shame. Apologising to me, his friends, family and our team for his behaviour.
There was not a bad bone in his body.
One time I had to hunt him down in London in-person in the middle of the night to try to help save his life.
Anti-semitism is abhorrent and unacceptable.
But mental illness is extremely complex and if we don’t have a path for treating and helping people with disorders like bipolar - unfortunately will we have many more people take their own lives.
The UK govt should let Ye into the UK or it sends a very negative message to millions of people who suffer from similar conditions.
Rest in peace Alex - I know you have finally found the peace you were looking and I’m sorry the world could not provide it to you. ❤️
The future is definitely here
At Roots we are now developing in silo’d department’s. No coders. No developers. All specialists within their departments.
1 Managemnt system
1 front end marketing website
1 members app
1 patch manager app
1 admin HQ app
HS2: fine.
Selling NHS data: fine.
Selling council allotments for housing: fine.
Three lads from south London charging a tenner a month to grow courgettes: ABSOLUTE OUTRAGE.
Someone superglued our locks. For gardening.
Will pay someone good money to help me build out the most awesome open claw. I’m looking to build a system that self learns across all departments, provides reports back and then executes on that.

@PropertyPrince4 I truly believe the first one person, £100m revenue company will happen in the next 10 years. I know of a company doing £50+ with like 8 FTEs
