Both ‘27 Jill Daniel & ‘27 Eliza Oechsle of Oconee (GA) had practice later today but still pulled up for the 1:30 pm session.
Daniel is a bigger guard who has grown into her game physically since we last trained in June 2024. There’s a lot of upside here with her physical build and skill set.
Oechsle is set to be a leader in the backcourt this year. She’s got the IQ to be an offensive floor spacer, on ball defender and put her team in good spots to win.
‘27 Christian Mundy of Cuthbertson (NC) made the 3 1/2 hour trip to get work in and make sure I got eyes on her game. She’s smooth off the one bounce pull. Look for her to have a big year in her new school setting.
‘28 Ansley Dunn of Cherokee (SC) is a true shotmaker. She’s a silent assassin in that way. Her ability to make shots out to the 3-point line off the catch or off the bounce was impressive.
‘28 Jaucelyn Smith of Gainesville (GA) was just as polished in this workout as she was back in the early fall. Smith can get to her spot off the bounce. Look for her to put Hall County on notice this year.
‘28 Ayla Summers of Mill Creek (GA) is a certified shot making option. Her best days shooting the basketball are still ahead of her too. That’s the best takeaway from today’s session. Real run room.
‘30 Haven Land of Nation Ford (SC) will get to play varsity as an eighth grader. Her game & skill suggests that she’ll be ready for the challenge that presents. We’re locked in to track her play.
‘31 Lindsey Smith of Wesleyan (GA) is putting the time in. She’s been on the floor multiple times with Xavier Johnson this year. It’s evident in her skill set. Advanced drill work = no problem.
