Breaking: Eagles are signing two-time Pro-Bowl selection Jalen Carter to a four-year, $152 million extension worth up to $160 million, including $106 million guaranteed that now makes him the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history, per his agents Drew and Jason Rosenhaus.
Carter now will be under contract to the Eagles through the 2031 season.
Where would the NFL's top stars land if all active players were up for grabs in a draft? @chad_reuter produces a seven-round mock in which all 32 teams look to assemble a win-now core of talent entering the 2026 season.

@Smittycitygreen@noah19646760@Dizzy_3D Most successful qb in eagles history but you nitpick stats like this lmao you can do that with damn near every QBs career. “Fans” like you are weird
@noah19646760@Dizzy_3D Moving goal posts I see lmao “he can’t pass” is right insightful. Passes good enough to go to 2 sbs and win sb mvp. When people like yourself said he could never sniff one.
@noah19646760@Dizzy_3D Okay your point? You was using that to diminish him and he’s literally the one who led the team in rush yards you’re making no sense
@Kelly_K_9@andrewsrodgers6 @_30problemzzz So you’re not counting leather helmets but you’re counting bowls before the salary cap smh it wasn’t even the same league when the boys was winning. Y’all bought those rings
@drewthevirghoe@JustinHerbertLA@Marqonthemoney Man facts he’s ignorant 😂 had to block my burner cause he don’t know ball smh Jalen was killing em with his legs Herbert ain’t doing that
Peyton Manning raves about Jalen Hurts on the PFF podcast with Cris Collinsworth:
Manning: "He's played so well in both of the Super Bowls, but I like the way he goes about it. He calls me a lot and asks me lots of questions. They actually run a lot of plays that we used to run. [Nick] Sirianni, to Frank Reich, to Tom Moore, sort of that chain. And he calls me with very specific questions about certain plays. So he's a student of the game. Here's another example—he squats 600 pounds, he can run over guys, he can throw it a mile. But his appreciation of the cerebral part of the game is what is impressive to me and how he's taken his game to the next level and I think the sky is the limit for this guy."
Collinsworth: "Have you ever met a more intense, serious human being than Jalen?"
Manning: "No."
Collinsworth: "It's almost intimidating when you are in the room with him!"
