The way @NYCMayor did the pothole blitz, they must do a catch basin blitz to clean all the debris & allow for more storm water retention. Also, STOP BUILDING LUXURY TOWERS. Rewild the land. Less #nycflooding & class/racial violence 🤷🏻♀️
Usher singing U Got it Bad made me cry like I was back in junior high all over again. That song will never lose that ex-factor. #SuperBowl#Usher#UsherBowl
We stand with families whose loved ones have been killed by #NYPD and call on @NYCMayor to sign the #HowManyStopsAct. HMSA illuminates the reality of policing in our city and paves the way for genuine #NYPD accountability and community safety. https://t.co/sOrP0bSzqv
Thank you @nyccouncil for passing the #HowManyStopsAct with a supermajority vote. Now we call on @NYCMayor to sign HMSA into law! HMSA will shine a light on what policing looks like in our city. We demand #NYPD Transparency Now! https://t.co/sOrP0bSzqv
Shout Outs to @NYCCouncil for passing the #HowManyStopsAct with veto-proof majority. 👏🏽 HMSA will bring critical & urgent transparency to the NYPD’s daily activities in Black, Latinx, & low-income communities. Tell @NYCMayor to sign these bills into law! https://t.co/sOrP0bSzqv
@NYCHA I tried to use the MyNYCHA app but it would not let me submit a ticket because it said the temperature is over 55 degrees even thought it was technically 51 degrees (please see images attached). Please fix this system error as it should not hinder our ability to submit tickets.
@NYCHA needs to send heat. No heat today & yesterday. They said it’s not cold enough but it’s 50 degrees rn. I have an infant I can’t even bathe bc it’s too cold in this apt w/ no insulation. Tired of these everyday indignities. GIVE NYCHA TENANTS HEAT. We’re freezing!
Today is the day! NYCHA residents across the city are coming out to speak on NYCHA’s lack of meaningful engagement & to voice our desires for safe housing that remains deeply affordable & truly public—for the people & by the people! Shout outs to @RPPHNYC & #SaveSection9!
How can we truly communicate the anguish from years of living in decrepit conditions? How do we convey the frustration & sorrow from decades of social & economic neglect from our city/state/country? How do we speak to our fear of displacement as NYCHA continues privatizing? (3/4)
Earlier this week I went to Washington DC with #SaveSection9 to meet w/ officials like @RepMaloney , @SenGillibrand , @RitchieTorres , and @SpeakerPelosi to lobby for/as public housing residents; we even met with @AOC . But I question if we were truly heard & understood.. (2/4)
