22 new complex care homes are coming to Nanaimo.

Construction is underway on a 22-unit building at 1850 Boxwood Rd. for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness who have complex needs. With 24/7 supports and @VanIslandHealth services, completion is expected in 2028.

We broke ground on 158 new rental units for seniors at two locations in Coquitlam, ready for move-in starting in 2027!

• 290 Laval Square (right by services at Maillardville Community Centre!)

Okanagan Falls is becoming a municipality—the first in B.C. in 16 years.

As the District of Okanagan Falls, residents will elect a mayor and four councillors in the 2026 General Local Elections. This puts local decisions in local hands.
